If you are adjudicated guilty of any marijuana charge – simple misdemeanor possession of pot under 20 grams, felony possession of pot over 20 grams, possession with intent to sell, sale of marijuana, manufacture of pot (growing weed) – any weed charge – your driver’s license will be suspended/revoked for a period of 2 years.

However, if you are found not guilty at trial or if you are successful on a motion to suppress, you may get to keep your driver’s license.

Also, if your lawyer is able to negotiate a withhold of adjudication for your plea, you will keep your driver’s license.
