Jody Lane aka Jody Barnett filed against sitting judge Tim McCarthy yesterday. She just paid the filing fee. She is a graduate of Nova law, class of 2002. Jody has a general practice. McCarthy has a quick temper. All the lawyers know that. Maybe Jody had a bad experience with him. Who knows.
Jody was an assistant state attorney and ran for Palm Beach Gardens city council. She worked at Mitch Beers’ office for a while, although I think she might have just leased space from Mitch. If I remember correctly, Jody worked for PBSO part time too.
