Congrats to Burton Conner for getting the 4th DCA appointment. Burton was an assistant public defender many years ago. He also had a private practice handling various civil matters. Pretty smart guy. He actually listens. Gives you findings of fact, conclusions of law. However, I never won a motion to suppress in front of him. Always denied.
There are few judges on the 4th DCA that come from the 19th circuit. Now at least they have some representation.
